A Dutch-American painter shares his life-story and his art through his travels coast to coast in the USA, Europe and the Middle East. Born in a small town of the Netherlands, he was brought to the USA as a child during WWII. While at Art College he realised that he had found his mission in life.
The book has many illustrations which show Albert’s expertise in all possible mediums and is for anyone interested in art and what it takes to become an extraordinary artist. It is also a visual travelogue not only of some of the most beautiful scenery on both sides of the Atlantic but of everyday life during the past 70 years.
