Smart and entertaining (2021-03-29)
This book is not what you think it will be. You think it will be a standard summer romance story as an extended family returns to their beach cottage for summer vacation and a pair of teen brothers join the group. What it ends up being is an intimate profile of the damage a narcissist can wreak on a group of people.
I don't want to make the book sound bleak, because it is not. The characters are smart, the family is close and loving, and the writing is crisp and witty.
This is an excellent weekend read, because you are not going to want to put it down.
